FH Public Relations (24/03/2025) | Asian Law Student Association Local Chapter Universitas Airlangga (ALSA LC UNAIR) held ALSA Bondfasting with the theme “Breaking Fast, Building Bonds: A night of Unity with ALSA Bondfast” on Saturday (15/03/2025) at Hotel Trio Indah 2, Jl. Brigjend Slamet Riadi No. 1-3, Oro-Oro Dowo, Klojen District, Malang City, East Java.

This event is an annual breaking of the fast activity as a result of collaboration between Universitas Airlangga, Universitas Brawijaya, and Universitas Jember, which have created a policy brief with the theme “Harassment Everywhere, Where is a Woman’s Safe Place?” The purpose of this activity is to strengthen social and spiritual bonds between members of the organization, as well as to build better relationships with the ALSA Local Chapter Semi-Autonomous Body (BSO) from other universities.

This year’s Bondfasting activity also began with distributing takjil to the surrounding community before breaking the fast. This action reflects one of ALSA’s pillar values, namely socially responsible. Thus, ALSA Bondfasting is not just an event to break the fast together but also a means to hone communication skills, strengthen relationships between ALSA Local Chapters, and demonstrate social concern, which is an important value in the organization.

The main activity in ALSA Bondfasting is informal sharing between each ALSA Local Chapter. This session is very useful because friends can get to know the superior programs of each ALSA from each university and learn about new innovations introduced by Brawijaya University (UB) and Jember University (UJ), considering that their new management has only been running for three months. Thus, this event is a good opportunity to learn from each other and strengthen collaboration between ALSA Local Chapters.
