FH Public Relations (12/11/2025) | The Law Empowerment through ALSA Development (LEAD) 2025 program is a strategic initiative initiated by the Asian Law Students Association (ALSA) in collaboration with alumni of the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University, and the ALSA LC UNAIR alumni. The program, which runs from August 22 to October 29, 2025, is designed to bridge students, the professional world, and the alumni network, while also expanding their horizons regarding various career opportunities in the legal field.

LEAD 2025 aims to strengthen intergenerational communication between students of the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University, and alumni, while honing legal skills relevant to industry needs. The series of activities began with a company visit to Bank Mandiri on Jalan Tunjungan, providing participants with an opportunity to understand the dynamics of work in the banking sector. The program then continued with five online mentoring sessions covering four main areas: Justice, International Affairs, Business, and Government.

The highlight of LEAD 2025 was the Career Talkshow and Job Fair, held on October 29, 2025, at the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University. This event featured a lineup of speakers from various legal sectors, providing in-depth insights and opportunities for direct interaction with experienced practitioners. Participants gained not only practical perspectives but also professional guidance that would serve as valuable resources for planning their future careers.

The enthusiasm of the participants was evident in the high attendance, with over 100 participants attending the Career Talkshow and Job Fair sessions. The organizers hope that LEAD 2025 will not only serve as a platform for enhancing students’ capacity and career preparation, but also serve as a platform for strengthening relationships between the younger generation and alumni. Furthermore, this event is expected to inspire participants to continue developing their skills and boldly take steps forward in the professional world.
