HANDS ON ART 2026 Successfully Ignites Student Creativity
FH News (08/04/2026) | HANDS ON ART is a program of the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University, and serves as a space for creative expression for students through art. With the theme “Sparkling Identity,” this activity encourages students to showcase their character and identity through meaningful personal works. Through activities such as decorating phone cases, participants are encouraged to express their identity while fostering an appreciation for diversity.
The activity took place on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in Room 1101 of the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University, and featured a series of interactive and enjoyable events. The event began with fun games to build camaraderie among participants, followed by presentations on self-expression and creativity development. The culminating event was a workshop on decorating phone cases with various decorative elements, complemented by snacks for socializing.
The participants’ enthusiasm was evident throughout the event, especially during the creative process, which provided complete freedom to express their ideas. As a token of appreciation, the committee also presented awards for the winners of the fun games and the best phone case category. This further encouraged participants to actively participate and showcase their creativity.
Overall, HANDS ON ART provided an experience that was not only enjoyable but also meaningful for students’ personal development. This activity helped boost self-confidence, courage to express themselves, and the ability to interact socially. Furthermore, this program is a positive step in building an inclusive, creative, and diverse academic environment.
