FH UNAIR Prepares Fast Track Program with Durham Law School

(12/14/2023) | The Fast Track Program is one part of the academic program owned by the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University. Fast Track Program is designed to obtain bachelor’s and master’s degrees in a shorter period. This program can be taken by undergraduate students who have completed their third year at the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University, and are continuing to the next level.

To improve the quality of the fast-track program, the Faculty of Law, Airlangga University, signed an agreement with Durham University. The signing of this agreement aims to provide an opportunity for FH UNAIR students who wish to continue the Master of Law program by obtaining an “LL.M” degree, which is achieved quickly rather than having to attend lectures in a complete schedule.

The reason for FH UNAIR implementing the agreement with Durham University is because it is one of the best universities in England. Which has been established since 1832; apart from that, Durham University is also a university that is ranked 78th best in the world according to the QS World University Rankings 2024. In collaboration This time, FH UNAIR is presenting a new program called “3+1 Scheme Program”, which means that third-year Bachelor of Law students registered at FH UNAIR have the opportunity to continue to the fourth year in the Master of Laws program offered by the Faculty. Meanwhile, Dr. Amira Paripurna, Coordinator of the Undergraduate Studies Program, stated that this collaboration can continue to exist to provide better quality legal education and research. “In the future, FH UNAIR students can also participate in this fast-track program because it provides an opportunity for FH UNAIR students to continue to receive international quality education,” said Dr. Amira.
