Signing of Agreement between FH UNAIR and FH Makassar State University: Strengthening the Tri Dharma of Higher Education

(7/10/2023) | Airlangga University’s Faculty of Law adds another series of collaborations in the Tri Dharm Pergurian Tinggi field. To be precise, last Monday (2/10/2023), there was a visit from the Faculty of Law, Makassar State University, which took place at the Faculty Club Building A FH UNAIR to discuss the agreement between the two institutions.

During this visit, there was a lot of discussion about mutually improving the quality of each university, both FH UNAIR and FH Makassar State University. This discussion is by the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely Education and Teaching, Research and Development, and Community Service.

The visit carried out by FH Makassar State University was attended by several leaders from FH Makassar State University, one of whom was the Head of the Business Law Study Program. Apart from that, FH UNAIR was attended by Iman Prihandono, Ph.D as Dean of FH UNAIR and Taufik Rachman, Ph.D as head of the Legal Sciences Department of FH UNAIR.

With this visit, it is hoped that good relations will continue between FH UNAIR and FH Makassar State University in improving the quality of legal education, as well as several supporting elements such as facilities and infrastructure that can be delivered by both FH UNAIR and FH Makassar State University in supporting learning programs on campus.

Iman Prihandono, Ph.D gave a speech that, apart from delivering several programs taking place at FH UNAIR and FH Makassar State University, he also provided output through cooperation agreements between campuses, one of which was the agreement to prevent criminal acts of sexual violence on campus.

“We were delighted when we received a visit from the Faculty of Law, Makassar State University. We hope that both FH UNAIR and FH Makassar State University can continue to build relationships to improve legal education programs in Indonesia mutually,” said the Dean of FH UNAIR.

The end of the visit and agreement signing session, specifically to implement the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, closed with a group photo between FH UNAIR and FH Makassar State University.
