Public Relations (08/07) | The Department of Basic Legal Sciences (DIH) Faculty of Law, Airlangga University, held legal counseling in Tejoasri Village, Laren District, Lamongan Regency (29/6). The legal counseling is in the context of community service with the theme “Inheritance Law and Land Law.”

The counseling, which took place at the Tejoasri Village Hall, lasted for approximately 3 hours. Counseling participants consist of village officials, the Village Consultative Body (BPD), RT/RW, and stakeholders in the village.

The first material was delivered by Dr. Soelistyowati, S.H., M.H. The speaker, who has expertise in the field of inheritance law, conveys the basis for the validity of inheritance, which consists of inheritance based on customary law, Islamic inheritance law, and Western civil law or BW.

The second material was delivered by Prof. Dr. Sri Hajati S.H., M.S. She is an expert professor in the field of land law. In his presentation, she conveyed several things related to administrative procedures in the land sector.

The counseling course received enthusiasm from the participants. This cannot be separated from the theme of legal counseling based on the needs of the Tejoasri Village community. Hanum Rahmaniar Helmi, S.H., M.H. as PIC, said that before the counseling was held. “We have surveyed and discussed with village officials. “The theme is in accordance with community needs,” added the lecturer at the DIH FH UNAIR Section.

The Head of Tejoasri Village, in his speech, also expressed his gratitude for the willingness of the Unair Faculty of Law to provide counseling in Tejoasri Village. “We feel honored and fortunate to gain knowledge from professors and legal experts. We hope that today’s interaction can continue in the future,” explained the Head of Tejoasri Village and was greeted with warm applause.”
