HISTORY OF ESTABLISHMENT
In accordance with the Word of the Lord Jesus Christ that man is not living by bread alone, but from every Word that comes out of the God, indicates the need of every human being for a balanced state between physical and spiritual life. Therefore, driven by the noble desire to build a complete Indonesian human, especially in order to achieve a prosperous and pleasing life before God, and in accordance with the command of the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 6:33, a group of Christian students within the Faculty of Law of Airlangga University formed Protestant Christianity on May 22, 1999 with the initial name of Protestant Community, which is a community branch under the Christian Spiritual Student Activity Unit of Airlangga University (UKMKKr). Along with the continuous development of the Prayer Union or the Christian Community in each faculty with the zeal of each faculty, Protestant Community of the Faculty of Law was renamed its name into Juristic Prayer Union, Jurist is a jurist in the hope mentioned.

– Presents the Faculty of Law of Airlangga University for the glory of God’s name.
Mission of Protestant Jurist Community Fellowship Vision
– Helps Christian students to own, maintain, and enhance their personal fellowship with God.
– Complete the life of Christian student learning to:
– Have the right motivation and appreciate the meaning of study in college for a Christian.
– Have a balanced spirit, activity and perseverance between study and service
Giving positive direction and prepare Christian students for a bright future as Christian students, community members and community leaders at its best, can be put on and develop their role build the nation.
o Become alumni who can continue their spiritual struggle in their respective churches, in student fellowship as coaches, movers or motivators and service communicators and as missionaries.
Raising, upgrading and preserving fellowships among Christian students, faculty and staff both in campus and off campus. Increase testimony and image of Christian students on campus, at home and in the midst of the wider community.

The Management Period of the Jurist Prayer Union is 1 (one) Period of Management or approximately for a year starting from March to January of the following year. Management meeting with all administrators and some alumni is conducted annually to determine the next Chairman. For member recruitment procedures, Jurist Prayer Union is unique as every Protestant student who is a student at the Faculty of Law of Airlangga University is automatically registered as a member of the Jurist Prayer union, as it basically want to embrace all the Christian students at the Faculty of Law in a Family in God.
– Jurist Prayer Union
Every Friday, at 15.00 WIB (Tentative)
This activity is one of the main activities of the Jurist Prayer Union, which is the regular worship service every week. Members can worship together with friends in faith that they can strengthen each other in the love of God and strengthen their relationship as the family of Christ.
– Jurist Fellowship
This activity is an activity undertaken in order to welcome the new family of new students entering the world of lectures. A short service, which is accompanied by fellowship and sharing together with friends of the whole generation is performed that the purpose of this activity to familiarize members.
– Christmas Celebration of Jurist Prayer
The celebration of Christmas is one of the regular activities of the Jurist Prayer Union which is regularly held every year. Members worshiped together with the entire academic community of the Faculty of Law of Airlangga University to commemorate the birth of the Lord Jesus into the world to save humanity.
– Retreat jurist Prayer Worship
Retreat service activity is conducted outside the city, together with all members and also alumni of Prayer Jurists from various forces for several days. In this Retreat Service, legal perspective based on the Christian faith and useful games and outbound sessions to familiarize and compile the retreat participants is performed.
– Study Club
This activity is routinely conducted prior to midterm exam or semester exam at Faculty of Law. Discussion and study together with members of PD Jurist is performed to discuss examples of previous year’s exam questions and unknown material.
