Institute of International Law Studies
History of establishment:
The history of AIILS is started from the Unit of Protection of Indonesian Citizens and BHI (UKHP) formed since 2010 by Dean Decree no 95 / H3.1.3 / KD / 2010 dated February 1, 2010. Along with the development of scholarship and the increase of lecturers who have completed their doctoral studies, it is necessary to develop UKHP into an institute that embodies all fields of science d osen professors of international law.

Only in a few months various activities have been conducted, such as bringing guest lecturers from abroad who are experts in the field of legal air and sea law and conducting FGD in the field of trade law.
Focus of Activity
AIILS provides assistance and services to communities and stakeholders in the form of opinions, academic texts, innovative inputs and thoughts on the transformation of international law to national laws relating to policies, laws and regulations and other matters.

- Chairman: Koesrianti, SH., LL.M., Ph.D.
Koesrianti holds LLM and PhD degree of Law Faculty University of New South Wales (Australia) and an SH / LLB from Law Faculty Airlangga University, Indonesia. She teaches: Public international law, international business transactions, maritime law, international dispute resolution, and ASEAN law at Faculty of Law Airlangga University, Surabaya, Indonesia. Her research interests include international law, ASEAN, migration law, international dispute resolution, and international business transactions. She wrote a book titled: ASEAN, Constitutional history and economic integration. She has presented papers in several international conferences and wrote some articles on international law topic. - Dr Aktieva Tri Tjitrawati, SH, M. Hum:
Dr. Aktieva Tri Tjitrawati, SH, M.Hum obtained a SH degree from the Faculty of Law of Airlangga University, and S2 and S3 from Faculty of Law Universitas Padjadjaran Bandung. Dr. Aktieva teaches, researches and performs community service in the field of international law, especially international agreements and international trade law. Additionally, Dr. Aktieva also examines issues of globalization and health laws.
- Iman Prihandono, SH, MH, LL.M., Ph.D.
Iman Prihandono is a Lecture at the Faculty of Law Airlangga University who teaches public international law and international human rights law. His area of expertise is in business and human rights issues, especially on the right to the access to remedy. He finished his under graduate in law program (SH) from Airlangga University, and took his master of law degrees at the University of Indonesia (MH) and from the University of Sydney, Australia (LL.M). Finally, in 2012 he finished Ph.D in international law from Macquarie University, Australia. His Ph.D thesis is titled “Litigating FDI-induced human rights violations by TNCs: opportunities and challenges for Indonesia”. Prior to joining the Univesity, he was a lawyer specializing in corporate law, financing, and capital market law. He published a book titled “Responsibility of Multinational Corporations under the International Human Rights Law, Airlangga Univesity Press, 2016. - Dr. Dina Sunyowati, SH, M.Hum
Dina Sunyowati completed his doctoral studies at the Post Graduate Program of Airlangga University, Indonesia in the field of Law of the Sea. It is also a course for International Law, International Law Law and International Law Treaty. In a few years regularly conduct research in the field of Law of the Sea, Integrated Coastal Management, and Marine Environment.Results from the study journals and has been active as a speaker / presenter in the national and international conferences. Some training has followed that of the International Treaty Drafting, Dispute settlement of Maritime Boundaries, Integrated Coastal Management, and Legal Research. She IS ALSO active in Associations of Indone cyan Coastal Management Expert.
